The Angel of the Thing follows Dana through the Abramelin operation and into a permanent relationship with her Holy Guardian Angel. The recording has to accommodate both the ritual and the ordinary interruptions: breakfast, work, family and the difficulty of sharing a room with someone who notices everything.
I revised the recording through several rounds of listener feedback, working on pronunciation, dialogue delivery, pauses and individual words. Some of the last changes were very small.
In “The Unbound Kings”, Dana says, “A demon was inside one of them.” The final correction restored that line as one uninterrupted sentence. The words did not change. The replacement take brought the edited sentence from about 2.68 seconds to 2.25 seconds.
I also shortened a pause in the opening from 0.42 seconds to 0.24 seconds. That edit removed silence between the words. It did not speed up the performance.
These are two concrete changes from the final correction pass on 15 August 2026. A finished recording is assembled from decisions at this scale as well as larger choices about voice and delivery.
The complete recording runs for 43 minutes and 37 seconds. Its chapter list lets you return to a particular scene, from the diary prelude and attainment to the four kings and the final diary.
